Here is the second colour print of my linocut Beetles and Heads. I've always been attracted to curiosities and oddities, which can often be discovered in anthropological museums. I especially like the idea of collecting these curios and placing them in the safety of a glass cabinet. And so here is my linocut version of a couple of favourite species I enjoy studying - insects and faces all trapped in an illustrated image for you to hang on the wall.
This is a linocut print with chine colle (hand painted tissue paper collaged onto the cartridge paper and then printed on top.
