"Beautiful Ocean" is a pure abstract painting, the ocean here is the idea of whatever vast environment, the impression of something large and beautiful, it could be a field with colourful flowers, a wide open blue sky, it could be the ocean itself. Also I love how "Ocean" sounds as a word, it's like music.

This series of paintings is called "Flirtation with reality".
It's an evocation of nature and countryside, an evocation of natural landscapes, I made the realism more obvious than in the other paintings, pushing further the borders between abstraction and realism.
The hues used are less flashy, less colour contrasted (the transitions between colours are more subtle), tinted with a touch of melancholy. I want it more romantic, with a lingering feeling of nostalgia, but in a poetic way.

If you buy more than one the same size, the shipping will apply only once,
usually if I can send all the works at once (maximum up to 3 in a same box for canvas and up to 5 or 6 for paper works) I make the reduction and I keep you inform, feel free to contact me if you need further informations or if you have any questions.
