BE A LADY refers to how women can be the object of attention. For this reason, they are always examples to follow. I always say, don't be a follower, be a leader. With our example, we can do so much good and so much wrong. So beware, and watch what you do. The background is a gray with texture mimicking the old walls from my hometown Cartagena, Colombia. The painting is square with a painted photograph yellow rose painted on one side. It seems to be ohanging from the wall with a tape. The painting is a statement for any part of your home.

It is a homage to women and their role in society and the family. They are moms, therapists, beautiful, hard workers, cooks, doctors, and many times without needing a degree. This series is all made with oils and collage that has been painted over to enhance the colors. They are all made on linen to ensure the best quality. All my paintings are originals.
