Battersea Power Station in South London is one of my favourite London landmarks and I have often passed it on the way into town from South London, but train, craning my neck to get as long a view as possible. Sadly it is being swallowed up by redevelopment, but I love it all the same. It's statuesque iconic chimneys dominating the skyline still.
