Original artwork description:
"Basic Black" is an elegant, middle-size black and white painting. Before painting the flowers I worked on the background, making it quite colourful. Then I painted with white over it but in such a way that the beautiful colours shine through. So what we have is a black and white foreground with a lively, joyous background.
The work is done with acrylic colours and is ready to hang.
The sides of the canvas are painted white.
It is sealed with a glossy varnish.
70 x 50 x 1,8 cm / 27.6 x 19.7 x 0.7 in
