Original artwork description:

The bold dark blue blocks at the upper right contrast with a solitary spot to their left. A seemingly beautiful patch of red has been covered with a greenish brown, considered by many to be the world's ugliest colour. Hence the large gap between them. This creates tension that the viewer is eager to resolve by mentally filling in the gap with the most appropriate colour, only to find that harmony already exists. It is often an unusual combination of colours that evokes a most pleasurable thrill. There are many more colour conflicts scattered throughout the painting that add up to an interesting viewing experience.
