Original artwork description:

Young woman gazing at an Autumn moon in wonder.

Autumn is suddenly here again ... where I live in the Lincolnshire Wolds it is impossible to miss the changing seasons! I love this time of year!

I've created two new paintings in a similar theme (using and elaborating on the title "Autumn's Last Leaves"). This one, like the very first from 2017, contains a figure. Her dress and face catch the moon's glow, and like its sister painting "Autumn's Last Leaves ~ Cradled Moon", created at the same time but without a figure, the moon is nestling in the branches.
Unlike the original "Autumn's Last Leaves", the figure in this image is more a girl, perhaps on the verge of womanhood.

I love working on this Indian Khadi handmade cotton rag paper.
It is a 12 x 17 inches, 210 gsm weight paper with a deckled edge; my favourite shades are muted blue, grey and teal; these colours form the basis of the image.

Available unframed.

I have created two CGIs photographs showing how the painting might look framed with* and without the deckled edge showing.
*If you prefer the deckled edge visible, please ask your framer to "float" the image to show-off the edge; then it can be surrounded with mat/mount board as usual. (Please ensure that any artwork is kept from touching the glass).

The painting will be wrapped in acid-free tissue, packed carefully and sent by Tracked Delivery.

Materials used:

watercolour, Khadi 210 gsm paper
