Original artwork description:

When I was younger I used to fall in love a lot, but sometimes my love was not returned, my phantasies were bigger than reality or love did not work out and we separated after a short time. I used to listen to sad music, escape from reality and sometimes - in colère - even tore pictures into small pieces. Just to glue them together again later.

This "Augusta Mosaique" series is inspired by this. I took the famous photo of Austrian model Augusta Alexander and tore it into small pieces, looking like mosaics. And I glued them together in a spontaneous style. So the artwork is a little bit ressembling old Antique mosaics from Gods, that got reconstructed.

I think this photo by Augusta fits very well, because we looks a little bit like a Greek or Roman God and he crys himself, fueling a little story in my head...

IMPORTANT: None of my artwork is perfect, they are organic, there are drops of paint, tears in the paper, waves, glue residues. They are original!

SHIPPING: The costs for the shipping are estimates, depending on the size of the picture, the weight and the region it is shipped to. But I refund all my customers in case I have charged too much.
