Original acrylic landscape painting in a semi-abstract style. High quality acrylics on a stretched canvas.
This semi-abstract landscape was created with multiple washes of colour (around 20), slowly building up the large shapes of dark and light tones until I was able to achieve the desired quality of light and atmosphere. The highlights were then added with thicker paint. The work is finished with a coat of protective gloss varnish.
Supplied UNFRAMED. The canvas can still be hung unframed as the edges are painted black. This can look effective, particularly with modern decor.
