This beautiful piece was lost in the mail by no fault of Martin. He checked the postal status and stayed in contact with me everyday until it was found. He offered a refund quickly but I was in love with it and held out hope. I just received it today and it is just what I wanted! Thank you Martin!

Just a few words to say how pleased I was to receive two artworks from Martin. Throughout the process Martin was very helpful and guided me well when selecting the right frames. It is obvious Martin wants his paintings to arrive in perfect condition as he was maticulous in his packaging. Highly recommended..

I was very excited to receive this beautiful little painting and it arrived promptly, it was very carefully and expertly packaged to prevent any damage in transit, and finally was every bit as wonderful a painting as shown in the pictures. I have already had it framed and it looks absolutely wonderful in a gold scoop. Many thanks Martin - I am very happy to have this in my collection.

I've had my eye on this little painting for quite a few months; it's my third purchase from Martin and I did the right thing by adding it to my collection. I know for sure that it'll make me happy. As a purchase, the care put into the packaging and presentation make it a joy to unwrap. As a work of art, the subject, the mood, the finish on the surface and the framing are all excellent. Martin is a professional. The painting is a tiny treasure. I'm delighted.

This little landscape is my second purchase from Martin. When I saw it I just had to have it - love at first sight. Like my former purchase, "A Winter's Afternoon", it's an accomplished, confident work. It arrived promptly, so beautifully packaged that opening it was a delight in itself. "Downpour" is a little gem: quiet, contemplative, emotional and moody; I just love it. It speaks volumes to me and I will treasure it. Thank you Martin.

I am beyond happy. Martin sent this artwork by fast delivery which was very much appreciated and, because I was so excited to see the painting for real I was definitely not disappointed. The packaging was secure and so well done that it was like unwrapping a gift! Now to the painting itself: I adore it. The colour and tones are perfect and the simple, strong black frame is just right. That such a small image can convey so much feeling in a few brushstrokes is amazing. I'm so pleased that I bought it and am thrilled to own it. Thank you very much Martin.

Martin Cook was a delight to deal with from the beginning to end of 'our project'. We commissioned him to paint a portrait of my wife - something we had never done before - and Martin made the whole process so easy, seemless and ultimately very rewarding for us. Throughout our communication, he made useful suggestions on style, pose, background, expression, colours, lighting etc without making us feel 'inadequate' and yet with an authority that we came to trust, enjoy and fully appreciate. The end result - just 3 months later - was wonderful and beat our expectations by many a mile. Martin's level of service was outstanding . He communicated very effectively and efficiently and was always available to provide objective comment on any of our thoughts or requests. Throughout the whole period that Martin was painting the portrait, we always felt that he was reflecting what we would want and indeed, most importantly, representing the best features & character traits in the painting. Martin was so easy to deal with. He was kind and generous with his time and offered much help and assistance at every stage, including organising the frame purchase, framing of the work and sending it to us in Ireland. Indeed, his packaging was an artform in itself! We would recommend Martin's artistic talent to anyone who is looking to commission a similar piece of art. His service levels are also second to none and he delivers his 'product' in a friendly, informative yet passionate manner. We will undoubtedly wish to utilise his talents again in the future.

I didn't mean to ask for a frame, if I did, and I really didn't like the frame which was cheap and unattractive looking, to me.

Unfortunately it appears that you did not see my message sent the day after your purchase asking about framing issues, which would have afforded you the opportunity to let me know that you would prefer the painting supplied unframed. Had I known I would certainly have been happy to do this. I really am very sorry that this caused disappointment.
