Distance based on culture and socio economic status leads to parallel worlds that not only exist separately but are practically unaware of the existence of others. The cow represents the disenfranchised/outsider in my paintings. Several of my recent figurative paintings are inspired by fashion; in this image fashions acts as an economic barrier. This painting was inspired by a fashion shot for Kotwara collection by Mira Ali.
