This is part of a series of abstract artworks. My intention is to explore shape, colour, and movement of organic form by manipulating and layering multiple copper plates. I use a sense of place in nature to inspire me.
The method used is etching on multiple copper plates using sugar lift and spit bite aquatint methods.
The final image consists of three panels (triptych) each measuring 11x11 cm.
