I now live near to moorland in Lancashire, where I've discovered bilberries growing.
2019 was a particularly good year and I picked quite a lot. They can be a bit elusive though as they hide away low down the stem...
It's a rather addictive sport once you start, and you can while away the time thinking about important questions of life while you hunt for the little b****berries.
