Original artwork description:
This painting started out as a dance study (without the hoop). I added the hoop months ago to make the painting more of a geometric graphic. I added a realistic sky, full of clouds, but decided it was way too busy with information. I repainted all but the sky and added a large triangle shape to the background. Finally, I changed that to a simpler cloudy sky. I've never gone through so many changes to one painting.
My better half is glad this one's finally finished. "going to call it done " -BRoss
