Original artwork description:

'A Patchwork Farm' - Original Acrylic and mixed media landscape in pastel colours with ink and pencil details, the painting abstractly represents fields, trees, countryside, and fences painted in November 2018.

This work was created through experimentation with Design, colour and value. Using an abstract base of vibrant acrylic colours I then worked on top of the colour base and began a process of subtraction, mostly through the use of white, until the forms of an abstract landscape emerge. The artwork was then developed further using pencils, ink, palette knives, and various mark making processes. The marks often reveal the energy with which my work is painted.

Part of a series of works - This paintingis sold without the frame and is 20cm X 20cm or approx 8" X 8" and would look great mounted in a floating frame as shown.
