Artwork description:

Funny funny guinea hens, if you have never met one, make sure you do in the near future for a good laugh!

An etching is a copperplate where with the help of acid I have incised my drawing, I then add aquatint to get the deep tones of ink, with the help of rosin that gets heated onto the plate, all a bit complicated but fun, and us printmakers, we love to complicate things! You can see me make and print an etching if you go to the "me at work" section here in my shop.
Every time I print the copperplate, I have to ink it up with special etching inks, and then put it on my etching press, place the printmaking paper on top and pull it through.
When the ink and paper has dried, I sign and number each print, please note I can't guarantee you get the number in the photo.

The size of "a stack of Guinea Hens" is, paper: 23" x 10" ( 60 cm x 25 cm)
with the image copperplate: 19" x 4,5" ( 48 cm x 12 cm)

I ship the etching to you from my studio in the south of Denmark, I live on a wonderful island surrounded by all the nature that gives me inspiration. I have many years experience of sending art, I pack it very carefully so it arrives safely, see my reviews.
I am of course very happy to gift wrap and include a message, just let me know.

Thanks so much for visiting and hope to see you soon again!
