This painting is taken from a series of over 100 depicting a bizarre and troubling evening at Willowfield Manor. As the party rages on - as drinks are drunk and music roars - the guests must grapple with the security of their relationships, their place in a class-consumed society, and even their existence in reality as a whole.
'EDITH is growingly uneasy amongst the churning cycles of the dancefloor. She has been waiting for a break in the music to make an escape but, with none apparently coming, she is forced to create her own.'
