The richness of a Nation, summed up .....Yes ladies and gentlemen, it's right here before your eyes! Have a close look at what's shown. The oil is extracted out of the Earth, in this case, beneath the Sea bed. (on the horizon to the left of the sailboat). The oil is then loaded on to a tanker, which is anchored, floating on the Sea, most likely waiting for the oil price to increase on the market! Fortunes are made, the Nation prosperous. Here you see an example of that healthy economy. A favorite pass time for many, sailing the vigorous North Sea. I could imagine it is not always easy to purchase a painting simply by seeing a picture of it on a website. Most of the time the actual painting is far superior to the photograph. Sometimes the colors or not exactly true. Of course when you live nearby, you are always welcome to view the work in question at my studio in The Hague.
