I love painting on these misty days, when the fog is so thick, visibility is reduced just to your immediate surroundings. The atmosphere becomes at once mysterious and still, in a positive way, mind you. That I believe is due to the light. Often one gets in a peaceful mood, experiencing a deep sense of tranquility, upon gazing at such an image. Luckily for me on this day there was hardly no wind to speak about, thus I took advantage of that and made this work on location.
