What you are seeing is a copystand image of the framed photograph, the actual photograph looks much better! I have cropped it to where there is a black slip around the edge of the matt, and it has not been re-touched.
This is a 20"x24" hand print, 2 of 125, printed in the darkroom on Fuji Super glossy archival paper. The black line around the image is the edge of the negative, this detail gives another frame to the image & looks great but is difficult to do.
It was shot on colour negative, I love the vibrant colours which really 'pop' on the 'super glossy' paper & the composition is great, very Americana, one of my favorites.
It is framed with beautiful glossy black 'Nielsen' aluminium extrusion.
In todays digital world you will not see many hand printed photos this big on Artfinder.
Materials used:
Fuji super glossy archival paper, acid free archival mount board, Nielsen aluminium frame.
