Original artwork description:

This piece stands out in a room, I've noticed people standing staring at it for ages. The painting has warmth and depth created by the use of Quinacridone reds and Pyrrole crimsons. This is accentuated by the texture provided by the moon like surface in the image.
Strangely punctuated with floating puddles of varying shades of paint, this painting started off as a clinical experiment, but has resulted in an unusually organic feeling work. For me it was a very satisfying exercise in control and restraint.
This work could be considered reserved but without fail it makes a huge impact on a room and I never grow tired of looking at it.
