The Crystal watercolour workshop collaboration with Aura Alchemy

The Crystal watercolour workshop collaboration with Aura Alchemy

It was a very enjoyable morning at my first Crystal watercolour workshop. I will be creating another workshop in September. The inspiration was selecting up to three crystals which you are drawn to by there colour, shape, patterns and energy. Then we sketched out our designs incorporating a crystal within the artwork. Then applied watercolour washes for the background using our imagination and feeling. Aura Alchemy is a unique place and thank you Roberta and Keith for allowing me to use there beautiful space situated not far from the Art Garden Studio in Shaftesbury high street Dorset.

Yesterday I had to do some promoting for our fourth coming exhibition with the Sketchy ladies in late September. It was a wonderful day, perfect weather along park walk at the Shaftesbury Fringe Festival in Dorset. I had lots of lovely children and adults having a go at sketching and interested in arty workshops. Thanks to all the Sketchy ladies.

I absolutely loved my recent holiday during the end of May. I was so glad to be surrounded by beautiful scenery like mini Switzerland. This is a picture of my painting in progress in a heatwave looking across to the landscape. The experience I will cherish!

My short Easter break was staying in a beautiful location at Hartland looking across to Bideford bay. It was very scenic and another amazing scene to paint.
