    I have had three paintings framed with plain offset white frames for exhibition and for sale at the Titchfield Art and Craft show this coming weekend. Framing is no doubt a considerable cost... and an artist always has to factor in the commission on the sale on not only the painting but also the frame... however it does make an enormous difference!

    New Forest Inspiration

    I have decided that all of my 9 painting submissions for the Titchfield Art Show will be on a New Forest inspired theme this year. These depict a range of iconic New Forest landscapes from open heathland to ancient forest, streams and ponds. I feel blessed to have such a diversity of rich landscapes on my doorstep.

    I am working on a series of portfolio paintings at the moment created on paper. These have been inspired by the New Forest and will be offered for sale at the Titchfield Art Show 26th-28th April.     I am pleased to have dispatched my painting 'Shepherd's Delight' off to a buyer in Philadelphia...but the cost of postage has shot up....seemingly doubled! I have had to adjust the postage costs charged but fear that this will just kill any future sales to the USA sadly.
