This beautiful painting arrived today which is earlier than expected. I already had another bluebell woods painting from Max and because I love it so much so I commissioned another. Thank you Max for your amazing creations. I can't wait to have both painting up on the wall. :-)

Dear Tuen, Thanks very much for the great review. I hope that the last email I sent was helpful regarding the gloss finish. As I said it is purely a matter of taste whether you have a gloss finish or leave the painting unlacquered. However it can be easily altered either way as most artists suppliers supply both lacquer mediums and also solvents to remove them. I personally have no particular preference as both mediums give an acceptable finish and so in general I supply paintings unlacquered unless the client specifies such a finish. Acrylic paint gives a very rugged and durable finish and therefore does not necessitate any further protective coating. Best wishes and many thanks again for the orders. Max

We were so delighted with the painting Max did for us - an absolutely beautiful panorama of one of our favourite spots on the Isle of Man. Excellent communication throughout and the final product really surpassed our expectations - superb!

Ref Your Review Hi Chaz and Terri, Thanks for the great review, I must say that we artists really like to know that our customers enjoy our work, it makes it all worthwhile. I guess that we all suffer from pangs of doubt but I must admit that I enjoyed painting the tractor and I was happy with the result, it was taken from a picture that I took whilst on holiday back where I originally came from, that is the Isle of Man. It looked a bit sad and lonely but actually I think that it was still in use as a towing vehicle for lobster boats at a nearby beach. Best wishes Max

I love my beautiful artwork, of a part of the world I know well and love. The artist kept in contact with me, and set accurate expectations of when I could expect delivery of my artwork. I am very happy with my painting and can't wait to get it framed and hung, once the restrictions on non-essential retail are lifted. Thank you, Max!

Hi Emma, Many thanks for the great review, I am really pleased that you like it, it is based on a photograph that my son took whilst on a car tour of the area. I realised that I was a bit optimistic on my first anticipated delivery date as I quoted a date based on a UK delivery and obviously Ireland is not part of the UK. I tried to follow the tracking on the Royal Mail site but it seemed to stick in the Dublin sorting office ,in fact it is still show as being there. So much for the system!! Anyway glad it arrived safely. Best wishes Max

I loved the idea of this painting before it arrived. When I saw it with my own eyes for the first time, the multidimensionality of the brush strokes and colors blew me away.
