This piece is really amazing! It was packaged safely and arrived internationally in perfect condition. Most importantly, it looks even better in person. The colors and composition are wonderful and I know I'll enjoy the painting for years to come. Thanks very much!

Hi Nick, Many thanks for the great review, I always look forward to getting feed back from my clients especially when they say they like the painting. The work was based on a photograph I took whilst walking on the shore at the Point of Ayre in the Isle of Man on a wildish day and the pattern of the waves and the pebbles appealed to me. The area is right at the topmost part of the island and has strong currents and rough seas even on calm days. Best wishes and thanks again Max

The pictures were received in good condition and look great, just as per the image online. The only let down was Royal Mail who failed to deliver the next day after dispatch, which clearly wasn’t Max’s fault.

Hi Andy, Many thanks for the very nice review, I am still pursuing Royal Mail for their late delivery. It was particularily annoying as I got them to our PO in the morning so they had no excuse for the delay. Anyway, I am glad that you are pleased with the pictures, they were two of my favorites and we had them up in our house for quite some time. Best wishes Max

Max was incredible to work with. He communicated frequently and thoroughly, and his work was absolutely gorgeous! My family is thrilled with their Christmas gift paintings of their island home!

Hi Angela, Many thanks for the great review, I enjoyed completing the paintings, but I am always worried about commissions as my customers have very clear views about what they want, so to see that you are happy with them was not only a great relief but also a great delight. The framing looks exactly right so thank you for sending the photograph. I have tried selling framed pictures but I find that most people prefer to pick their own colours for the frames and mounts to fit in with their house decorations as well as the colours of the painting. Also the cost of shipping increases considerably with the extra packing, weight and size. Please give my best regards to your Manx relations, you can tell them that I shall be over on the island again in July this year, it is a beautiful place and I never tire from visiting it. This beautiful painting arrived today which is earlier than expected. I already had another bluebell woods painting from Max and because I love it so much so I commissioned another. Thank you Max for your amazing creations. I can't wait to have both painting up on the wall. :-)

Dear Tuen, Thanks very much for the great review. I hope that the last email I sent was helpful regarding the gloss finish. As I said it is purely a matter of taste whether you have a gloss finish or leave the painting unlacquered. However it can be easily altered either way as most artists suppliers supply both lacquer mediums and also solvents to remove them. I personally have no particular preference as both mediums give an acceptable finish and so in general I supply paintings unlacquered unless the client specifies such a finish. Acrylic paint gives a very rugged and durable finish and therefore does not necessitate any further protective coating. Best wishes and many thanks again for the orders. Max

We were so delighted with the painting Max did for us - an absolutely beautiful panorama of one of our favourite spots on the Isle of Man. Excellent communication throughout and the final product really surpassed our expectations - superb!

Ref Your Review Hi Chaz and Terri, Thanks for the great review, I must say that we artists really like to know that our customers enjoy our work, it makes it all worthwhile. I guess that we all suffer from pangs of doubt but I must admit that I enjoyed painting the tractor and I was happy with the result, it was taken from a picture that I took whilst on holiday back where I originally came from, that is the Isle of Man. It looked a bit sad and lonely but actually I think that it was still in use as a towing vehicle for lobster boats at a nearby beach. Best wishes Max

I love my beautiful artwork, of a part of the world I know well and love. The artist kept in contact with me, and set accurate expectations of when I could expect delivery of my artwork. I am very happy with my painting and can't wait to get it framed and hung, once the restrictions on non-essential retail are lifted. Thank you, Max!

Hi Emma, Many thanks for the great review, I am really pleased that you like it, it is based on a photograph that my son took whilst on a car tour of the area. I realised that I was a bit optimistic on my first anticipated delivery date as I quoted a date based on a UK delivery and obviously Ireland is not part of the UK. I tried to follow the tracking on the Royal Mail site but it seemed to stick in the Dublin sorting office ,in fact it is still show as being there. So much for the system!! Anyway glad it arrived safely. Best wishes Max
