This is a Christmas present for my niece’s son who is interested in trying water colour media, and also butterflies. I liked that the background is painted and this I hope will make him understand that you can build up your picture gradually, I hope!

Christine Oh what a great idea. I think it is a good plan to look at other artists work for inspiration. Nothing wrong with that.
