    This is the time of year that I take A level workshops at local schools. I take along something that I have started and demonstrate my painting process. This week, I took along Judi Dench in progress, I have done more to her today, and she will be available to buy from my shop page when she's completed. Such an elegant lady.

    Portrait workshops

    This is the time of year that I do workshops in schools with the new A level students. I generally take something along that I have started, and talk them through my painting process as they watch me do more to it. This Paul Weller will go along with me to an art society workshop on Friday, I will have to come up with a new half done portrait for a school at the end of the month. I enjoy meeting the new students, I like to look at their work and draw inspiration from it as they do from mine ( hopefully πŸ™‚).

    Thought that I would celebrate today by sharing a commission from a few years ago... it's not just international artists that need to be celebrated, it's international collectors too. This piece was commissioned by my loyal collector in Poland, and is one of my favourites. Honey Bee, oil on canvas 80 x 80cm. Happy creating everyone!
