    I am delighted to have my work featured in Delamore Arts annual show this year. It is quite a prestigious event ...a little like a Royal Academy show of the Southwest. Set in the grounds and house of the beautiful Delamore Estate, Cornwood, on the edge of Dartmoor. Open every day of May.

Sue set up the Sue Hooper Foundation many years ago, supporting young people in realising their dreams in the performing arts.     I haven't painted myself for almost 6 years, so as I often say that I like painting faces as they age, thought I'd better do the same with mine. It's not a pretty face, and I don't like looking in the mirror for that reason, but it is interesting to be forced to study it in the same way that I study other people's faces.

    This is the time of year that I take A level workshops at local schools. I take along something that I have started and demonstrate my painting process. This week, I took along Judi Dench in progress, I have done more to her today, and she will be available to buy from my shop page when she's completed. Such an elegant lady.
