    Impossible Is Nothing

    Impossible Is Nothing

    This is a painting that I have done to donate to an auction to raise money for a charity which sends goods to Ukraine. Title is a reference to the Adidas tag on the boy's hat, but I felt that is was very appropriate to the situation. I have painted the background in black & white so that the little boy is a lovely bit of colour amongst the ugliness of war.

    Our Kid

    I regularly go to schools to take a portrait workshop with A level students. I start something, take it along to demonstrate my process adding more, then invite students to have a play with it to experience using oils. This is one that I have got underway for the next session.

    Commissioned portrait of Blues singer Seasick Steve,with his hand made cigar box guitar. Very much enjoyed this painting, it's a great size and allowed me to indulge my love of little details.
