This painting was made after walking a stretch of the Dales Way in Yorkshire, along the river Wharfe between Barden Bridge and Grassington. My aim was to describe the golden hour evening light effect on the landscape with the river Wharfe in cool shadow.
The painting was made on primed calico, on a robust panel, and measures 8x10 ins. Initialed on the front, lower right corner, and signed and titled on the reverse.
All items are wrapped in acid free tissue and robust reinforced cardboard packaging.
Primed canvas on sturdy panel, artist quality oil paint
