The very movement of nature is always an inspiration to me, the way rivers shift and mountains rise, and fall away, in an ever never ending cycle.
A linocut reduction, means that as I print the different colors, I cut away areas on the lino plate so when I am finished I can't use it again, to print this image. I only printed 4 prints, I have used intense ink management on this print, it means that with years of being a lino artist, I can very much determine how much ink I deposit on the linoplate with my roller. I love, when the inks are thinly applied so you see the layering of the inks, it gives life, texture and emotion to the print.
Edition: 4 prints, you receive the print in the photo as I have so few.
I have signed, titled and numbered the lino reduction print.
Size: the actual printed image measures 11" x 8.5" ( 28 cm x 22 cm)
