Artwork description:

A reduction linocut of our local bookshop and café in Bishops Castle, Shropshire with its eccentric red / orange exterior and sculpture of a hare on the front. Good for books, CDs and cake! This is a variable edition print and the colour of the front may vary from red to red / orange.

This is a limited edition created via the Reduction Linocut method of printing. This uses one piece of lino which is progressively cut and printed , destroying the lino in the process. A reduction print can therefore never be reprinted as the whole batch of prints must be printed at the start and will determine the final number in any edition.

Materials used:

Lino printed on Japanese Similie paper using water washable inks
