Original artwork description:

This painting looks at dream logic. The octopus is kind and inviting us to eat, but to his detriment. It was inspired by a dream Gabriel had while living in Buenos Aires, but was only developed into a sketch, and then a painting, once he'd moved to Edinburgh. Now finished on a large canvas, standing almost a meter tall, the cephalopod's generosity speaks loudly.
