Original artwork description:

Watercolor painting “Winter in the South of Turkey. The city of Fethiye” was drawn from life during my plein air travel in Turkey in the winter of 2021.

In the second half of January, cold weather set in in southern Turkey. There is snow on the tops of the mountains, winter freshness is felt in the air, and the color in nature has slightly changed. I wanted to capture this state of nature and convey my impressions of what I saw and felt.

Depicted is a view of the Amyntas tombs in the picturesque city of Fethiye on the seashore. The city is rich in a variety of motives, there is nature with snow-capped mountains, turquoise water in the sea, and beautiful urban architecture.

The work was painting by professional Italian watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.

Also on my page you can see other original paintings painted from life during my plein air travels in Italy, India, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey. And also see my paintings with flowers and still lifes painted from nature.

All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
