Artwork description:

My painting Winter Coastlines is inspired by my walks on cold winter mornings beside the beautiful tidal waters of the Dee estuary that flow between the Wirral peninsular and the Welsh coastline. The shoreline of the Wirral is made up of sandy beaches and beautiful countryside with spectacular views across the estuary. As I walk along the coastline of the Wirral I look across the estuary to Wales. During the winter months the Welsh hills are often snow covered.
The painting has lots of textures and interesting marks, an important part of my painting process. My mark making and textures help to describe the winter landscape around me. The frozen earth, water, plants and trees.
This artwork has been created on a quality box canvas and has white painted sides so no need for framing and has been fitted with chord so is ready to hang. It has been signed on the side.
