This artwork belongs to the series "4 Seasons". This series took me several years - from 2007 to 2015 and has a lot of artwork. I try to correlate female beauty with the beauty of nature, to be more precise - her energy, her lying state, with my emotions and sensations that a particular season causes.
In the artwork "Winter" the girl looks a little frozen, but at the same time illuminated by her inner warmth. Such a bright winter sun, reflected from the snow and blinding, breaks through the window to illuminate her body. Her pose is calm, as if she is covered with snow and resting like a sleeping beauty.
