Original artwork description:

I painted a series of the four season using this house as a motif. I had expected to like the Spring or Summer paintings the best - but I was wrong! This painting depicting Winter is far and away my favorite! I love the play of light across the surfaces of the house and all of the shades and tints of white. The white of the snow in sunlight glows and the there is such a variety of color in the snow shadow. The photographs are good but do not capture all of the nuances of the color variations! It is a lovely contemplative painting.

This is painted on gallery wrapped canvas, and the edges are painted dark grey (as shown in some of the photographs). There is a wire on the back and it is ready to hang in your home or office!
