Original artwork description:

I found this extraordinary place nearby one of the walking dunes while backpacking along the Polish coast of the Baltic Sea. These two trees are connected by endless mutual pain. The older tree, with one of the branches, cuts into a flesh of the younger one. On the incessant wind it is causes constant friction in the open wound and this friction actually can be heard. It was the sound that took my attention. It was a few days before summer solstice.
