Original artwork description:

This original abstract painting is a 2 piece set, sold individually (The other piece is natural green agate & blue-gold leaf). Both are highly textured mineral paintings. This piece is made with crushed natural pink-coral stone, blue-gold leaves, and resin on Japanese paper mounted on a wood panel.

Because these substances consist of unique chemical and physical properties, every artwork has its own story to tell and embodies a sense of connection to the earth. All 4 sides are painted with a 3D-like appearance. It has a matt, sand-like texture for mineral areas and a smooth texture for resin areas.

"Wema" means kindness in the Swahili language. Inspired by the rich culture and extraordinary land of South Africa, the artist expresses an environment of respect for differences in traditions and values, each existence as an independent entity.

In mint condition, Certificate of Authenticity included and hand-signed at the back. Sold unframed and ready to hang (eye bolt and string mounted at the back).
