I started to paint this artwork from nature. My friend said that the picture is like a fairytale city.
The painting took part in many exhibitions and won the highest places.
The monastery is located on the Solovetsky Islands. It is surrounded by the White Sea, so you can only get there by ship or small plane. Many tourists visit this place every year. Everything here breathes history. Founded in 1420-1430s.
P.S. The Solovetsky Monastery is depicted on a 500-ruble note (Russia).
