This painting is a mixture of the urban environment in which people live every day. A city is a place where people spend most of their time. For them, architecture, streets become something ordinary, everyday. Therefore, on a weekday, people merge with the urban environment and take it for granted.

We are unconsciously influenced by the city when we go to work, walk the dog in the park, meet someone in a cafe, go for a run, and so on. Based on this, I decided to depict a city street in the background, adding abstract spots that kind of blur what we see every day. I depicted the silhouettes of people from above the urban landscape, showing by this how we dissolve against the backdrop of the urban environment. Therefore, people and the city thus complement each other and become something inseparable.

My earlier painting are famous for urban landscapes, architectural and street scenes, urban scenes, but gradually I moved from the urban landscape to figurative painting. Since I realized that I am more interested in people in large numbers, their interaction with society and elements of urban paraphernalia.

In this painting, I used mixed media, namely, I laid the foundation with watercolors, then finalized the clear lines with acrylic markers and acrylic paints, focusing on color spots. I also drew the silhouettes of people with colored soft pencils using a gel pen and alcohol markers. The paper on which I drew is dense and is 300 gsm. Therefore, it withstands mixed media.
