Artwork description:

This image was taken along the fishing ports in Costa Brava, Spain at the end of winter, during a particularly reflective time in the artist's life. Ms. Poppe loves the symbolism of the waterlines, the borderland of what lies above and what lies beneath, hidden below the surface. And, also, that what is most weathered is often the most beautiful.

Materials used:

Colour Photographic Print on Aluminium. The photograph is printed directly on a .16cm aluminium sheet and mounted on 1.9cm ready to hang aluminium frame.
