Original artwork description:

This painting was inspired by the local Heron's fishing near my home in Scotland on the River Esk. The heron looks regal as he waits for dinner to pass by, standing still on a stone or bank by the river. I used a mixture of colour's and media to suggest the river backdrop using a random flowing technique and painted the heron on to this once dry. I love the metallic effect of some of the paints used in the back ground which give a different look as you move around the artwork.

Signed on the back and on the front, all original artwork includes a certificate of authenticity and is ready to hang.
