Artwork description:

This monotype print is an image of Watchet rock as seen on West Beach in Watchet, Somerset. The print uses waterbased printing ink and has been applied through a masking technique, masking off areas to ensure forms and shapes are created through the use of printing ink. The colours used suggests an otherworldly effect, akin to an old worn photograph, created due to the textured surfacr of the paper. The colours are subdued, giving a dusky feel to the printed image.

The image has been handprinted onto 300gsm watercolour paper and framed in a handmade box frame painted in pearl white.
