This is a diptych painting on two stretched canvases of 24” x 24”. Painted in oils. Part of a continuing series of work depicting deep shadows on almost white walls. My fascination with the colours in light and shadow has always been a challenge and particularly when I visited Panama. An interesting country - not just a canal - mountains, tropical forest, and banana trees. Beautiful beaches with white and black sand, which shines like crystals (and burns your feet if you don’t wear sandals). Facing South East over the Pacific ocean, the sunsets were also outstanding and inspiring.
Displayed here as a diptych, can also be sold separately - see frame pictures - for £1650. each.
