On archival Arches 300gsm pure cotton paper, this piece is painted in my minimalist approach.
Using photos taken in old town area of Ahmedabad a heritage city in western India.
Early morning in a quiet bylane of this conserved precinct is watched over by a lone Auto rickshaw/ tuk tuk which waiting for day to start with some business.
Keeping pristine white paper around edges creates a space within, which invites the viewer 'inside the picture plane' with the bench for the public to sit just outside the space!
