Original artwork description:
This oil painting was made on location in autumn near Carcassonne. Originally I had planned to paint the city of Carcassonne but the vineyards in late autumn were so colourful that they became my main subject ( the colours of the leaves depend on the grape variety) together with the pine trees in the foreground. Still you can see in the distance some of the remparts of the city.
This painting is sold with a wooden floating frame, ready to hang .
