Artwork description:
It's been too cold to get out for a second week and I worked this print up from an old drawing. This is a view from a eurostar train, southbound from London between Lyon and Avignon. This service was withdrawn last year until further notice but it is a happy memory of a brighter day.
This is an original relief print pulled from engravings cut in rubber. The complete edition is 6 prints only. The sheet is 10½ x 15 inches (263x381mm) and the image is 6½ x 9½ inches (165x241mm). I can trim the sheet to a particular size if you would like. Please feel free to contact me to put a question or make a remark.
Materials used:
oil-based ink, off-white Japanese paper
