This painting was inspired by quotes from two of my favourite poets. 'Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?' by Mary Oliver and “yes. yes i do. have the right to be this lush and neverending” by Nayyirah Waheed. It is a painting about being fertile with possibility and hope. It is about being fully present and fully alive. It is about being comfortable in your own skin and owning your story.
