This artwork is a homage to Cy Twombly, who created a series of paintings dedicated to the Roman goddess Venus, incorporating inscriptions into his artworks. The artist engages with these elements, resulting in a new interpretation: Venus needs a break. The concept of love, beauty, and female sensuality, even for a goddess, requires reevaluation.

In its execution, the artist incorporates two smaller images onto the canvas – a small sketch in the upper right and a waxed drawing on canvas depicting a female head in the lower left. The raw canvas serves as the foundation, onto which the artist directly applies the questions using acrylic and oil paints, as well as pens. The painting captivates us with its traces, inviting us to decipher its meaning.
